Injector Slope

With a boost mapped tune the EEC-V is given half the injector's true flow as its slope (TI Performance Speed Density EEC Tuning Guide). A naturally aspirated tune uses the true flow — no halving. The built-in calculator takes the injector's rated flow and pressure plus your regulator pressure:

Qcorrected=Qrated×PregulatorPratedQ_{corrected} = Q_{rated}\times\sqrt{\frac{P_{regulator}}{P_{rated}}} Slopetune={Qcorrected2boostedQcorrectedNASlope_{tune} = \begin{cases}\dfrac{Q_{corrected}}{2} & \text{boosted}\\[6pt] Q_{corrected} & \text{NA}\end{cases}

Example: 28 lb/hr injectors rated at 43.5 psi with the regulator at 58 psi gives a corrected flow of 32.33 lb/hr — a tune slope of 16.17 on a boosted profile, 32.33 on an NA profile. The profile's Forced Induction setting selects which.

Enter the specs in the setup wizard (or Settings) and generate: the slope is filled straight into the Tuning tab. Run a fixed-pressure regulator and put that pressure into the calculator.
